Adults Breakdancing
These classes are designed to teach all abilities
from beginner to advanced as the teacher will be able to give each student individual
attention. The class is there for you come and practice what you know, and meet
with others with the same interests
Adults Street Dancing
This class is aimed at male and female. There is
a prechoreographed routine that is taught over the space of 6 to 7 weeks. This dance
style requires a high level of energy. Learning the latest dance moves will not
only turn you into a mover on the dance floor, but will to tone
Gracie Jiu Jitsu
Come and learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Steve Jones
who is a Purple Belt
from the Roger Gracie Academy in London. Steve has been training for
6 years and would like to share his knowledge of this effective self
defence system. Gracie Jiu Jitsu is like an advanced form of Judo you
will learn throws, groundwork, and submissions. Jiu Jitsu is also
excellent for increasing your fitness whilst learning new skills.
Breakdance Level 2
These classes are designed for those of you that
have now learnt the basics and are ready to move on and concentrate on the art of
Breakdancing. In these classes you will learn how to do tricks such as Flares,
Headspins, Windmills and much much more.
Break/Street Dancing Level 1
This class is a combination of Breakdancing and Street
dancing and is for total beginners (ages 5-8 and 9-16). In this class you
will learn breakdance moves such as Top Rocks, Battle Steps, Six Steps, Handstands,
Cartwheels. This will then be combined with a bit of popping, locking and
hip hop. Then all put into a choreographed routine which you can take away
to put with any music of your choice and before you know it we will have some budding
Justin Timberlake's and Ciara's!
BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens
your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups
by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great
music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results
you came for – and fast!
Cheerleading
Cheerleading requires you to be extremely disciplined.
We cover all ranges of cheerleading. Cheer Dance, Cheer and Chants, Flexibility,
Stunting and Gymnastics. If you need to build up your confidence, then Cheerleading
will defiantly help. Also you can become part of Ultramodern Cheer Squad (UMC).
You will have the opportunity to go to competitions and perform at all sorts of
events.
Fighting Fit
This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial
arts and is not for the faint hearted. You will use an array of punches and kicks
to music to superior cardio fitness. This class will also improve your strength
and flexibility and above all is great fun.
Fitness Pilates
Fitness Pilates is a training option that focuses
on the body as a human kinetic chain. By applying the fundamental Pilates technique
and exercises Fitness Pilates aims to offset musculoskeletal imbalances.
The aim of F.P is to identify basic postural imbalances and through Pilates based
exercises: Increase muscular balance and strength, Improve client's posture, facilitate
the clients’ ability to optimally function occupationally and recreationally.
Fitness Pilates integrates a mix of the original exercises and ideas with modern
research and updated techniques that are suitable for a group exercise class. It
is a group exercise programme designed to enhance the posture, strength, balance
and stability of a healthy adult.
Fitness Pilates is not remedial, diagnostic or clinical. It is not physiotherapy
and is not a specialised back care programme, It is a fitness based class utilising
the principals of Pilates and modified versions of the original Pilates mat work
exercises coupled with up to date exercise prescription and research.
Hula Hooping
Want a wonderful way to get into shape without
jumping around. Do you want to look graceful, sleek and sexy, then this is the class for
you. If you're thinking you couldn't even hoop when you were ten so you've got no
chance now, think again! Our handmade hoops are designed for adults, and kids which
means there are classes for young and old and it will be a much more enjoyable experience
for you this time around.

LineLine Dancing
Line dancing is a choreographed dance with
a repeated sequence of steps in which the class dance in one or more lines all facing
the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. This class is great
fun and easy to pick up.
Pilates
Pilates (pronounced Pi-lah-tees) is a system of body
conditioning designed to strengthen and lengthen the body's muscles with emphasis
on reducing incidence of back pain and injury. Pilates was developed over 80 years
ago by Joseph Pilates. It is appropriate for all ages because it tones and strengthens
the muscles without impacting the joints. It improves posture and strengthens the
parts of the body that age attacks, including the stomach muscles, inner thighs
and upper arms. Many forms of exercise create tightening of certain muscles while
over stretching others. Pilates is a method that aims to create a balance in the
body, designed to cater for the needs of the individual.
Pole dancing is one of the most challenging types
of exercise I have ever tried as there is always something new that you are trying
to do, it works every part of your body to tone and strengthen and helps lots with
flexibility as that then makes you look more graceful when you perform.
I find that it is a cross between gymnastics and ballet. I have also found
that since doing pole dancing - whilst never being a shy and retiring type it has
definitely unleashed a sexy side within me as it is a very sensual type of dance.
Pole dancing is for very every age shape of lady and above all else is fun,
inspires confidence and great friendships are formed whilst on our courses.
The classes are always quite small in numbers and so therefore very intimate.
The courses are 6 weeks long (1 hour a week) and also are formatted into beginners,
intermediate and advanced categories, as every lesson we build on top of what
has already been learnt and accomplished. So bored of treadmills etc, need
some motivation and fun then Pole Dancing is the one for you.
Pole Fitness
This class is for everyone that has completed beginners,
intermediate and advanced Pole Dancing courses. Pole Fitness is designed to push
your Pole Dancing Fitness and Stamina. These classes are choreographed and last
for 45 mins and are fantastic fun and extreme workout.
Power Yoga
This yoga is for all abilities from complete beginner
to the more advanced, men and women alike. Power yoga - is the energetic, form of
yoga favoured by Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sting and Trudie Styler. What distinguishes
it from other forms is its breathing technique, which must be synchronised with
a progressive series of postures known as asanas. The ancient system of asanas are
practised in the same order, with the series - the primary, intermediate and advanced
- precisely arranged so that each pose must be mastered before students are allowed
to progress to the more difficult ones. The aim is to achieve a graceful, flowing
sequence of movements. Power Yoga is fantastic to improve muscle tone, strength
and flexibility.
Salsa
This class is great fun with fantastic music and
is for all levels from complete beginners to very advanced. So whether you have
never danced a step of Salsa before or whether you have been dancing Salsa for years,
you will have a great time!
Step
A fun exercise to music class based on the use of
a step. Step is an excellent calorie burner and is suitable for all Fitness levels.
Street Dancing Level 2
This class is slightly more complex choreography
for everyone to dance to with more experience who would like to learn a strong
and confident style of commercial dance inspired by artists like Missy Elliot, Justin
Timberlake and Timberland.
Super Senior Aerobics
This class is aimed at the Super Seniors out there.
This class is a fun way to keep moving with great music. Sometimes a bit of
rock and roll, sometimes a bit of salsa style, sometimes a bit of pop. A range
of styles to keep active and healthy.
Tai Chi/Qui Gong
Tai Chi consists of a set of soft slow movements,
known as a form. It is also an ancient art and practiced at the studio for its holistic
movements, health and relaxation. Qigong is a formulated set of movements
coordinated with the breath which induces and guides the vital energy Qi through
and around the body. This class accessible to all ages and physical abilities all
you need is loose clothing, soft footwear or bare feet if you wish.
Tums and Bums
This class focuses on the two areas that most women
complain about Tums and Bums. Using hand weights and body weight to tone and
strengthen both areas.
