Hi there how are you? I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that I have recently put a lot of new classes on to an already bulging timetable at Break ‘n’ Spin, Llandudno.

New classes always take a little time to get busy as it takes time for people to tell all of their friends how wonderful the class is. I just wanted to say though that these classes need to have people in them for them to stay on the timetable, so if you are one of the many that is saying to yourself “I think I will go and try that class” then please come along otherwise the new classes won’t survive and that would be a shame.

I can honestly say that Break ‘n’ Spin is the only studio with such a huge variety of dance and fitness classes for children through to super seniors in the whole of North Wales, if you have never even visited the studio, please come along and pop in to have a nosey and say hello!!

Monday – Street Dance for Kids – these classes have been running for many years but at the beginning of this year went through a big upheaval as the instructor Ffion was off injured. We now have her instructor Charlotte that has taken over the class, and has some fantastic routines.

4.00 p.m. – is for ages 7-9 and 5.00 p.m. is for ages 13 – 16.

Wednesday – Bollywood for Kids 4.00 p.m. – 4.45 p.m. – This class is taught by Gaz Jabeen and is designed to teach youngsters some basic techniques i.e. ‘a classical hand and courtesy step’ to full traditional Indian Dancing, progressing through beautiful choreographed ‘Movie Scene’ dancing. We will also be working with Urban sounds and have more modern dance steps including hip hop, reggae and various styles using re- mix music sounds like Rishi Rich, Craig David, Gareth Gates (Spirit in the Sky) and of course the Pussy Cat Dolls’ version of Jai Ho’. We will also be teaching energetic ‘Bhangra’ dancing that everybody loves.

Wednesday – Pop, Lock ‘n’ Break – 7.45 p.m. – 8.45 p.m. – This class is taught by Ben Brodie and is a mixture of street dance, popping, locking and break dancing. It doesn’t matter if you are a total beginner or quite advanced, Ben’s routines and teaching skills can accommodate anyone.

Friday – Old Skool Hip Hop – 9.15 a.m. – 10.15 a.m. – This class is taught by Kieran Vernon and will cover the Original Funk styles. Popping, locking and B-Boying/ B-Girling This style is also known as Break dancing. Popping is a muscle contraction to give the effect of a pop or a Hit. Locking is a really funky style and great fun to do. B-Boying/ B-Girling is a combination of dance and Gymnastics.

Saturday – Aerobics with Roxy 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. – Roxy is a fantastic instructor and has taught in these parts for many years and has a great following. This class is fun, full of energy and is mixed with lots of toning exercises that target those areas hips, belly, wobbly arms to get you in the best shape you can be!

All the above classes are individually priced according to each instructor.

There is no time like the present to try out a new class!!!
